"Discreet yet luxurious"
My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights in June 2004 and found the experience wonderful.
If you're looking for a 5 star hotel with staff everywhere falling over themselves to attend to your every need then this isn't the place for you.
If, however, you want a 5 star hotel with quiet, refined, unobtrusive service then this is the haven of calm for you on the edge of the hustle and bustle of Naples.
We ended up with a fantastic room with a balcony overlooking the seafront and castle - but it was the attention to detail of the hotel that caught my eye...
A lot of hotels have pass keys for the doors but they actually seem to check the system here so that you're never interrupted by housekeeping - indeed you never even see any cleaning carts in the corridors: our room just magically seemed to clean itself, even in the short period while we were at breakfast.
Breakfast was a buffet affair but with a whole range of fresh, original food. Unusually for buffet breakfasts at this kind of hotel, the breakfast room was spacious, not too busy and staffed with enough waiters to give you a really personal service.
The bar is great for pre and post dinner drinks - both nights an excellent pianist was playing - and the nibbles are more than your usual peanuts and pretzels affair, with fresh cocktail snacks provided gratis.
As always with a luxury hotel, the minibar prices were a bit steep but that could be easily worked around by getting a couple of beers from the shop around the back of the hotel.
I travel a lot for business and visit many hotels around the world: this is definitely in my top 5.

"Absolutely ok"
Just returned after having spent a long weekend in Naples. They've got some good offers on their website.
This is a comfortable and stylish hotel, very friendly and helpfull employes, a lovely breakfast buffet with a nice view on the bay and the castle and an attractive fitness/relaxation center.
At the reception desk they gave us some good advices to have dinner, try Taverna dell'Arte (62,50 euro for 2) or Dora (110 euro for 2, arias inlcuded).
The Caruso (in the hotel itself) serves good quality as well, try lunch there because the view is magnificent.
